In 2004, when the Walker Art Center expanded its building and added on a theater space, they chose Gopher Stage Lighting to do the job. A new control system, new rigging and draperies... Gopher helped to create this brand new space and helped the Walker live up to the high standards it had already set for itself. |
Commonweal Theater in Lanesboro, MN was quite the undertaking for this small town. An existing building was completely renovated to become the complete theatrical space that it now is. Gopher provided curtains for both the main stage and the rehearsal hall, dimming, lighting controls and fixtures, and the sound system. |
Themed restaurants have realized the impact of theatricality and how taking things just one step farther can create an amazing experience. Cichroic glass, projections, LED effects, and show control have been utilized in cooperation with Schuler and Shook Lighting Designers. |
The W Hotel in Minneapolis needed its reception and bar areas to stand out, in true "W" style. Gopher Stage Lighting created a custom LED set up which included internally lit reception desks and LED accents for the bar. These LEDs are programmed to change color throughout the day to accentuate the perfect mood for the perfect moment. |

The Target Center holds some of the largest events in Minnesota, from concerts to sporting events. Among other projects at the Target Center, Gopher Stage Lighting integrated the controls into one, easy to use system. The arena floor, conference rooms, hallways, suites, and offices are now all controllable from one location with one system anywhere in the building. |
Since 1963, the Guthrie Theater has been a landmark in Minneapolis. When it came time to expand and build a new space, they turned to Gopher to supply top of the line dimming and control equipment and make sure everything worked as it should. Guthrie on the River is now one of the city's newest landmarks and Gopher was there to make it happen. |
Cyber Quest, located in the Mohegan Sun Casino, CT, boasts an arcade atmosphere that's top of the line. Gopher Stage Lighting was brought in as a consultant on the best way to create a space that would be both fun and functional. |
The Minneapolis Convention Center hosts hundreds of conventions and events year round. Thousands upon thousands of people use this facility and when it was time to expand they knew who they wanted on the job. Gopher provided new and expanded dimming and controls as well as intelligent lighting. |
